Midwives' Day in Razlog , 2019

It's a celebration of life and of all those who help accomplish the magic of birth. In Razlog, this celebration is a long-standing, highly revered tradition, a real celebration of the new-born life, of the grandmothers, of all which help to be born and raise the child. A celebration of the continuation of the genus and the joy of life, tapestry woven in the granny's line dancing in Razlog, in the little faces of the babies named “babincheta”, who are on the back of their grandmothers.
